In terms of cost, Forged Composites is significantly lower than continuous carbon fiber, mainly because of low design and production costs. In addition, because short/long cut carbon fibers can use scrap or recycled materials, the cost will be lower. In terms of performance, the strength of Forged Composites is about 200MPa and the modulus is about 30GPa. The strength of continuous carbon fiber is about 500MPa and the modulus is about 50GPa.

In fact, the carbon fiber reinforced plastics used in general supercars are mostly reinforced by continuous fibers (woven cloth like 1K, 3K, 6K,12K etc.), and you can see obvious carbon fiber woven textures, which are mostly used for exterior parts. And Forged Composites does not see the woven texture, but a typical hybrid fiber (isotropic).
